Angus Morton

born and raised on a farm in australia i began competing internationally in road cycling at the age of 14 and turned professional at age 18. i left the pro ranks at 20 to pursue a degree and career in film. working with some of the most respected independent production companies, (abc, zapruder’s other films, cjz & giant dwarf) in australia across non-fiction and scripted comedy by 24 i was directing my first national tv show.

at this point i was told i lacked the life experience to be a good director.

i took the advice, and returned to the professional sport in an effort to broaden my experience in life. alongside several more years as a professional cyclist, and adventure athlete, i created the production company thereabouts and have dedicated my time to telling stories beautifully and with utility.

i like to think that in the piece of advice there was some wisdom about humility, compassion and care.

i currently reside in east los angeles.
